Bennie International School

The Students of Bennie International School located along Hadejia Road, Yan’Kaba Quarters in Nassarawa Local Government Area paid an excursion visit to A.K.T.H on 20th February, 2018.

The Head Teacher, Mal. Nura Ibrahim who accompanied them stated that, they were in the Hospital to acquire knowledge with a view to generate interest of the students in choosing their future careers.

In Physiotherapy Department, the HOD/Assistant Director, PT. Muhammad Garba Fagge briefed the students on the techniques and physical therapies used in treating patients, while at Health Records Mrs. Victoria Bummi Owans and HOD explained how to retrieve case folder of patients and the importance of confidentiality in Health Records. Other Departments visited include Pharmacy and Main Laboratory.


Murtala Auwal Memorial College

The students of Murtala Auwal Memorial College, Rano paid a visit to AKTH. The Principal of the College, Mal. Yusuf Musa Sale said the visit was part of their extra-curricular activities to inculcate in the students, the virtues of kindness and care for others.

Adding that, the students’ interaction with Hospital staff will generate their interest to work for humanity.

Conducting the students round the Hospital to greet patients on admission, the Matron In Charge, Female Medical Ward, Matron Hafsat Mukhtar urged them to study hard so that they can become Nurses, as Nursing is a noble profession.
