The newly recruited staff of AKTH have been cautioned against engaging in collecting unnecessary loans of more than one third of their salaries.
The outgoing Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Prof. A.Z Mohammed gave the advice during a sensitization workshop organized by the Medical & Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), AKTH chapter to the newly recruited staff.
He warned that failure to abide by the above advice will lead to the Disciplinary Committee of the hospital to take necessary action.
Prof. Zakari also urged the new staff to be dedicated to their work, and be punctual, as well as dress appropriately.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman MHWUN AKTH chapter, Comrade Abdurrahman Aminu said, they organized the workshop for the new staff in order for them to be conversant with the rules and regulations of the Hospital.
Speaking during the event, Deputy Chairman Medical Advisory Committee, Associate Professor Auwal Umar Gajida stressed the importance of wearing I.D. card by staff at all times.
