Stores and Supply Department is one of the functions of the Directorate of Administration.  It is charged with the responsibilities of receiving, storing, issuing of all hospital goods and property. Other responsibilities include procurement, inspection and clearance of invoices for payment.

 There are four major sections in the department, which includes stores and stock control, procurement. Receiving and ledger control, The Stores and Stock Control Sections had eleven (11) Units under it, these included: Patient Care Store, General Goods Store, Laundry and Linen Services, Catering Services, Works and Services, Pharmacy, DRF 1 and 2 Stores, Stationery, DMU as well as Equipment stores.

Staff Disposition:

The department is headed by Chief Stores and Supply Officer and Assisted by one Chief Stores and Supply officer and other principal officers. The department has a total number of thirty-one staff including one Casual staff. 

Promotion:

Seven Senior and junior staff ware promoted in the year under review. Five staff ware also confirmed as permanent staff.

Professional Staff Training:

The junior staff who was sponsored for training in National Diploma programme in the purchasing and supply resumed work after completing the programme. One additional junior staff was sponsored for the same programme in the year under review. Fifteen junior staff was sponsored for an in house workshop, while six junior staff were sponsored for various National Workshops as well as one International Seminar.
