The School admitted 32 students for National Diploma through JAMB and 19 students for Higher National Diploma programme respectively.  The session commenced in November 2012.

National Board for Technical Education (NBTE):

NBTE has granted full accreditation to the school for both National Diploma and Higher National Diploma levels of the school programmes covering the period of 2009 to 2014 when the school will be due for re-accreditation.

Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB) Website and Brochure:
Sequel to NBTE full accreditation, the School is now listed by the JAMB on its Internet website and Brochure and admissions into the school is encouraged through JAMB examination for National Diploma Programme which is being controlled by JAMB.

Full Programmes Implementation (ND I, ND II, HND I AND HND II):
All the above levels of progammes were conducted in the school, which signaled full programmes implementation.

Three (3) Weeks Intensive Course for Health Records Personnel:
The School of Health Information Management conducted a three (3) weeks Intensive Course and Training for forty five (45) Health Records Department Personnel of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.

The school presented National Diploma I and Higher National Diploma I newly admitted students for indexing with the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria.

Students Leadership Training:
Leadership and Citizenship Training Centre Abuja extended invitation to our students for Leadership and Citizenship Training with their full sponsorships, one (1) student each representing four (4) of the classes (ND I, ND II, HND I, HND II) attended at Kadawa, Kano state.

Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme:
Eight (8) students of Higher National Diploma and twenty eight (28) students of National Diploma were presented for (SIWES). The students were those of 2008/2009 session.
